Hardball: Ron Silver just said the "DLC and Al From are right"
Ringing endorsement from a guy who spoke at the Republican convention.

See? The DLC has fans -- BUSH fans.

5. You Nailed It
And actors who spend a lot of time politicking
are actors who cannot get acting jobs---
they're out of work.

28. Same here.
It's hard to divorce his character from his real-life persona whenever I watch West Wing reruns, especially when he was ranting that they shouldn't be running from liberalism.

13. I love Reversal of Fortune
and Silver even made a watchable Van Damme film (Time Cop) but his politics have to go. Thank god I can seperate art and politics.

27. I'm not experiencing the same kind of dissonance...
In all honesty, I never thought he was a great actor anyway. He over-pronunciates words. Sounds like a stage actor that hasn't realized he's doing film yet. There's always that sort of clicking consonant at the end of his sentences.

Alright, I digress, but when else will I have the opportunity to comment on Ron Silver's acting ability?

22. Nobody cares what Ron Silver thinks...
the part I thought was funny was the fact that the only person I can find who says nice things about the DLC is in fact a Bush voter who spoke at the convention. What's next? Zell Miller?

about him yelling at Rep. Melissa Bean for 15 minutes at some DC party about what's wrong with the Democratic Party. This was mentioned on the Stephanie Miller show.

20. Who will bet me? I say Silver will run for something soon.
The guy seems to have have left whatever "Hollywood" career he had on hold. I bet he's thinking seriously about running for something somewhere.

29. Ugh, Ron Silver.
He was on TV the other day spewing the "Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims" line of happy horseshit.

Take your pencil neck, "child molester" beard and shitty movies and trouble us no more.

So now he tries to get coverage by switching to a political tone. Hey wait...aren't Repukes the ones that always say to "ignore those Hollywood types"?
