2. There was an article in The New Yorker last edition on the hotel
don't know if it had the owner listed but it was about the hotels history. I think it was about demolition of the building.

3. They want to demolish it but the pantry has the bullet holes for
a number of slugs. Sirhans' attorney apparently wants to stop the demolition in order to preserve the evidence. If more bullet holes are there compared to the number of shots in Sirhan's gun, q.e.d., there's a problem.

But I've been told by a friend who has Republican party ties, in an insinuating fashion, to look into the ownership of that particular hotel particularly in 1968. So that's why I'm asking.

Also, Special Unit Senator of the LAPD at the time was headed by a 'former' CIA police officer. Many strange things...

4. The Schine brothers...
"J. Edgar refers a young protégé of his, Roy Cohn, to Joseph McCarthy. Cohn becomes McCarthy’s Chief Counsel. Homosexual Cohn brings with him his constant companion, David Schine- whose hotelier father regularly hosts Edgar and Clyde on their ‘inspection tours’ of Miami. Although the elder Schine has a mob deal covering gambling operations in his clubs, Hoover accepts an exclusive set of his beach apartments at the Gulfstream in Miami Beach and at the Ambassador Hotel in LA.
Schine, like Murchison at the Del Charro, pays all Hoover’s bills."

Google 'em for more.

1951 is a very interesting year; btw, 1953 Zapata Petroleum...more likely named after Zapata swamps surrounding the Bay of Pigs !

Hey I'm over 1000 posts. Don't I get a prize or something ?
