CNN doing a special report on bloggers - said the top three
reports on bloggers today is, 1- the executive producer at CBS fighting dismissal, 2 - the jokes bloggers are making about a ship being named after Carter and 3 - then some story about a newspaper in Texas requesting people to quit using portions of their reports on their web sites.

No mention of Gannon, whores in the White House, CIA exposure. Woodruff is a complete and total idiot. These people are living in a bubble and yet, they expect us to take them seriously.

Said they had been watching a site that tracks blog activity - anyone know what site they are referencing? I can't believe that this is the most important subjects that bloggers are talking about today.

1. They are trying to discredit bloggers
MSM sees bloggers as a threat - they are enemies.

2. Except when it's Matt Drudge
Digging up dirt on Clinton. Then they are absolutely, 100% credible. Hypocrites.

3. uh-huh
If Woodhead actually brought up the main topic of discussion amongst bloggers right now - a gay hooker in the White House press room - they might actually have to add some *reporting* to the story. This concept is currently unknown to CNN.

Ol' Judy really needs to pull her head out of the shitter.

Not very scientific, but:

I went to http://www.blogstreet.com/ Clicked on Top 100 Blogs

Skipped the non politcal ones:

http://atrios.blogspot.com/ (Liberal - has Gannon Story)

http://www.instapundit.com/ (Conservative - Bunch of punky one liners per usual)

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/ Josh's typically Kicking Ass/Taking names on Social Security.

6. Unreal--how deep did they dig to find the CBS story?
*Everyone is talking about it* (WHO? The freepers?)

Perhaps they should mention the fact that the bald asshole prostituting himself all over the net is the one that spread the word about Mapes in the first place!

I cannot believe these people.

5. I just watched the same thing and what a flippin joke!
"But who checks the fact checkers" in the blogosphere (not woodruff or those two idiots doing the piece obviously)

Note how they tried to spin the CBS thing into a "conservative bloggger in this case sides with the liberals" WTF?

I was curious too, so I googled "site that tracks blog activity". Click on "News Talk" and it gives you results for the last 12 hours. Sounds like the kind of lazy "research" Judy Woodruff would do.

9. You've never heard of the "spin doctor" website before?
That would be the PRIVATE, behind closed doors, blog tracking website that resides in some secret room in Washington, DC.
