2. OH MY GOD!! Dick Harpootlian is upset by Dean!!!
Horrors!!

I've been wondering when Harpootlian was going to check in!!

Harpootlian says Howard Dean is on "double secret probation." Be werry afrwaid, Howard, werry afrwaid.

Apparently the only person AP could find to dump on Dean was the estmeemed Mr. Harpootlian, the former SC state Dem chair (I am guessing he's 100 years old, but this is just a guess).

13. Who the hell is Dick Harpootlian?

14. I know, isn't that a great name?
He's just some former state Party chair. I actually think it's a good sign that he's the only person they could find to make a negative comment about Dean. The Dems are hanging together, which is cool. What's even better is that "Harpootlian" sounds so ridiculous. I should make an Original Post out of this -- I think it's a blast!

The article really isn't that bad compared to some a few days ago -- the media seems to have toned things down a bit.

Harpootlian crosses aisle to praise Graham

Ex-chairman of S.C. Democrats even cut GOP senator a check, which he says he’ll frame

By LAUREN MARKOE

Washington Bureau
WASHINGTON — Dick Harpootlian has never been one to stifle his opinions.

So when the former chairman of the S.C. Democratic Party decided that U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham has been doing a pretty good job — despite the fact that he’s a Republican — he showed his appreciation the best way one can in politics."

8. Yeah and we're all a bunch of hippies-Haight-Ashbury no less!
But some of us aren't pacificts either. I say we go after the real enemy.

Howard Dean is a DOCTOR. A real doctor and his wife is too. Doctors are establishment. Some of them even value life and know the difference between truth and lies, which is more than you can say for the "journalists" that write about Howard Dean.

I find him if anything, old fashioned. I think we need to give him a different image. Howard Dean is very 1979. He's the old style type. Hell he's more of a real Republican than Bush. Put that in your pipe and smoke it MSM! He balance budgets-and probably cares about GOVERNMENT leaving you the hell alone. Bush wants the govermnent down your pants and in every thought you take.

I wish someone had the guts once in a lifetime to write something original. The cliches that are propaganda are SO boring.

Just because you are against a idiotic war based on LIES that achieves nothing does not make you a hippy pacifist.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Harpootlian said the image of the party and of Dean had shifted so far left that “they look at us as the Haight-Ashbury of parties. There’s a perception that he’s Ken Kesey. He’s got to turn that around.”

"Double secret probation..." !!!!!!

This is great fun already, and he hasn't even been officially elected yet!

Next, somebody will appear on some of these moronic cable news shows and accuse rank-and-file Dems of being Merry Pranksters...

This is so funny I can't stand it!

11. And note the Reed quote:
But Bruce Reed, president of the centrist Democratic Leadership Council, which has had its share of differences with Dean, cautioned: “Like any party chair, he’ll do fine as long as he remembers the Hippocratic oath: First do no harm.”

Did he and From ever consider applying the same principle to themselves?

First do no harm? A quote from a DLC traitor who has done nothing BUT.

Guess they must take the HYPOCRTIC oath over there at DLC headquarters.

EDIT: added a Coke for Janx
