You know the AP/Ipsos poll that shows Bush at 54% disapproval, 45% approval. I don't buy it. Here's why:

They give Democrats a 52-40 lead on party identification. I wish, but unfortunately for our party it's not 1955.

I'd love to believe this, but we give Gallup shit over their absurd weighting (+9 Republicans?!) and there can't be a double standard.

What's Bush's real approval rating? Probably right around 50%, give or take a little.

2. No. It's just telling me that only 40% of Americans are REALLY repukes,
and that's why they had to steal the election.

3. You misread those stats: 54% disapprove. With the weighting,
the approval rate should be 35%.

4. That Dem over Rep leads been there a while. I posted it not
too long ago and people jumped on it (yes, really). Saying that Dems always lead -- doesn't mean anything.

All B** other issues are up like Iraq -- worth it, Fight On Terrorism - Bravo, etc.

He may be getting hurt on the SS and budget. I mean this seems really stupid for B* to come out and cut food stamps. This just reminds people of that "he's for the rich" persona.

probably wrong, hope right

7. My guess is about 30%. I don't think it's EVER been more than that.
I also believe it was Kerry in a landslide...if all tampering, suppression, etc. is factored in.

...30%, IF Shrub is lucky.

8. I think it's pretty close
Rasmussen had him at 48% today

LInk I would say his approval rating is somewhere in the mid to high 40's
