Laugh + .5; a Right Wing Nudist!
From an October nudist newsletter I recently happened upon.

"As a Republican and a nudist who is well-known in my state, there has
never been any rude or nasty remark or mistreatment of me or my family
in North Dakota. Maybe it is our "live and let live" style in the
state, respecting privacy and the right to be left alone which provides
a safe haven for us and other people. Perhaps the idea of tolerance is
completely unbelievable to Democrats.

In 2000, as I traveled in Tennessee, I was told about a movement against
the nude resorts by Democrats, right wing Democrats who supported Gore.
What a surprise that our nudists don't know this. I guess they thought
Gore was open-minded and that his buddies would protect the rights of
nudists. I may be wrong, but my sources who live in Tennessee were
totally against Gore and helped Bush win the 11 electoral votes from the
state by winning more than 70,000 votes than Gore.

Did anyone ever inform the Democrats that our nation uses the electoral
college? Why do Democrats act as if our nation uses the number of
total votes in the nation instead of the electoral vote system? Do
these people realize that is the same system which allowed Clinton to
win the White House with only 42% of the national vote in 1992 or 48% in
1996? We don't have run-off elections in the race for the White House
and we play by the rules set up before the election is in process.

Haulover-Digest is not known for being a political newsletter, but as a
reader, I cannot sit by and witness the total slander against the
President of our nation as he is trying to give over 25 million people
in Iraq a chance to create their own nation and rule of laws without
being terrorized by a brutal tyrant. Can anyone imagine the mass
murders of Shi'ites and Kurds and Sunnis if a civil war breaks out if
our military leaves now? Did we learn anything about the horrors of
mass genocide in Kosovo, Bosnia, or Rwanda? Are the memories of
Democrats so short they have forgotten how the nation supported Clinton
on stopping mass murders?

If we are a nudist group seeking to protect our rights and keep our
resorts safe from being outlawed, then we all need to work together. Do
you think I would be willing to keep talking to Republican leaders about
the respect of our members when I have to continue to hear some liberal
person make mean-spirited and nasty comments about Republicans? Where
do you think I am going to take my political ideas if I ever left the
Republican party? I would not be a Democrat, and I would not risk my
job to continue to speak up on the rights of nudists.

In fact, I left Lake Como this past winter because it became a very
hostile place with liberals and Democrats protesting the possibility of
war. In fact, I wrote about my experience at a so-called "peace" event
with naked bodies spelling out a slogan with their bodies. We boycotted
Caliente nudist resort which held the event for the rest of our stay in
Florida. After the fall of Saddam, we returned to Lake Como and few
people said the Democrats were right.

Can any of us understand that our lifestyle would result in our murder
in Iraq? Do any of us really think we can say anything we want in Iraq
with Saddam? Being safe in the USA seems to create a false bubble of
security without understanding we owe a debt of gratitude to all the men
and women who fought and died for our rights to live free in a society
of law and respect toward others. As a nudist, we owe a debt of thanks
to dedicated nudist leaders who work for all of us and my political
contacts are still important to keep the dogs off our backs.

Crystal Dueker
Fargo ND"

-----------------

What I find comical is that I did a search on that name. She still supports Republicans apparently. I find this amusing in light of the "moral crackdown" by the Bush administration on any type of "immorality" in the wake of the Janet Jackson boob fiasco.

What's even funnier is when you look up her name on the internet and see who she's looking for as Pres. candidate in 2008!

Go ahead, take a peek.

(Oh, if you didn't "get" the subject line: laugh and a half)

1. If you've ever been to or seen pictures of a nudist camp, you'd realize
just how incredibly UNSEXUAL nudism is!

5. I can attest to that
I'm a card-carrying member of AANR.

Most nudist resorts I've seen are more like retirement homes. If you go to gawk, you'll be really disappointed. If you just enjoy not having to slip on pants to go check the mail, you'll dig it.

2. I am just going to start using the abbreviation CD
...for cognitive dissonance. It has become so commonplace that typing it out every time has become tediuos.

4. Totally delusional
In Mexico, dreaming of Condi Rice as president

From Crystal Dueker:

My dream ticket for 2008 includes Condoleezza Rice, either as president or vice president.

The question is, since she is not married, would our nation allow her to have a White House hostess instead of a first lady or a first gentleman?

:dunce:
