Hillary and Giuliani in 2008?
Happened to watch CNN earlier today and its poll showed that Hillary Clinton and Rudi Giuliani are the favorites among their parties.

They next interviewed two people - did not got their names - from both parties who do not like these choices.

Hillary Clinton is now talking about faith, about her growing up Republican in the Midwest and than being the First Lady of Arkansas, spending more time in Upstate NY which is "more like Ohio."

Rudi Giuliani who is pro-choice, pro gay marriage, pro gun control..

Comments, anyone?

1. Polls right now regarding 2008 are based on name recognition...
Theres no other way to explian it. Giuiliani has about as much chance in the Republican primary as Dennis Kucinich.

5. Indeed. Which is why until the primaries started in earnest last year
Lieberman was the top selection of Democrats. Yes, hard to believe.

But I found it interesting that both raise objections from the holding of the torch of the two parties.

One has to wonder whether name recognition later translates into "detectability" and we have seen how disastrous this approach is.

2. I'm not disrespectful of Hillary, or
hardly anyone for that matter, but Guiliani, after this past year, I will never be able to tolerate or respect him for anything. He whored himself for the blivet, and I'm done.

7. Right now Glueiani and McCain are favorites for repubs.
Each has about 30% of repub choice right now. Depends on what happens, but I'm calling it for McCain (for the canidacy, not presidency).
