Who's more corrupt than Karl Rove??
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 08:33 PM by ailsagirl
On Randi's show yesterday she said that when Rove was "just starting out" that he decided to bug his own office (in Texas), then "find" the bug, report it to the FBI, and blame the Democrats.

The FBI investigated (yeah, right) and concluded that it was the Dems who were responsible.

And Rove was on his way...

Do you BELIEVE this guy???

What a creep

4. It's Karl with a K -
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 08:34 PM by sparosnare
and the first underhanded scheme he pulled off occurred when he was in high school. He was working for a local Republican politican; decided to visit the office of his opponent. Karl pretended to be interested in volunteering and while there, managed to "lift" letterhead from the office. He proceeded to send out invitations for an evening of "food, beer and women" to local citizens using that letterhead. Scores of people showed up at the opponent's office. They were angry the party wasn't happening and the poor guy was unfairly targeted and lost. Rove walked away clean as a whistle.

He's more than a creep.

No big surprise-- his shenanigans (for lack of a better word) probably started at birth... his parents must have instilled his evil nature in him. Or else he's a "bad seed."

What I don't get is how these neocons justify (to themselves) lying and cheating and everything else they do. I mean, if I tell a lie, I know I did. I can pretend to others that I told the truth but inside I know I lied. And it doesn't feel good because I know lying is wrong and my conscience will bother me.

That's probably it-- they have no conscience, no soul.

Whatever it is, they have no morals and, say what you will, it'll bit them on the ass one day. It's the law-- the Law of Cause and Effect.

7. Karl's early life was dysfunctional
and his father committed suicide when he was 19. Could that have contributed to his lack of conscience? Who knows.

Neocon mantra - the end justifies the means.

Can't think of anyone MORE corrupt, except Lucifer himself. I feel sorry for Rove's kids. What a great example those poor kids have. (Sarcasm noted).

31. I fervently, desperately hope that the Dems will be back
But with the election process being so corrupt, I have serious doubts.

We've GOT to get our legislators working on election reform-- perhaps they already are. Otherwise, the repugs will "win" from now on.

30. Gotta be Richard Perle!
To be a truly, heinously corrupt politician, one must be a war profiteer; a war-monger (so that there is an occasion for war profits); a traitor working for another country; a serious hypocrite; a trader of political favors for big money; a litigious asshat who sues any publication and any writer who bad-mouths him (as he did Sy Hersh); and an original PNAC neocon conspirator. I won't go on, but there is a lot more to say.

Some corrupt politicians excel in a few of these areas, but for my money I'd say Richard Perle wins hands-down, just through the sheer breadth and depth of his corruption!
