Watch and listen to Gannon's Press Conference questions. See if that matches up with what Scott says at the press briefing. It took the bloggers literally a few hours of research to expose this guy. What's the White House's excuse? It sure sounds like Jeff is his best friend. Gannon's question involving Joe Wilson.
Q Jeff Gannon. How did he get a White House pass, or what kind of credentials did he have?

MR. McCLELLAN: Just like anyone else who comes to the White House.

Q Hard pass?

MR. McCLELLAN: No, he had never applied for a hard pass. He had a daily pass. I think he's been coming for --

Q Was he coming for --

MR. McCLELLAN: Hang on. I think he's been coming for more than two years now.

Q Under what name?

MR. McCLELLAN: Sorry?

MR. McCLELLAN: Well, you have to get cleared. You have to -- just like anybody else that comes to the White House, you have to have your full name, your Social Security number and your birth date. So you have to be cleared just like anybody else.

2. So Scotty did not answer "Under what name?" and no one pressed him?

Isn't that kind of important?

Two possibilities.
1) He was cleared under the fake name Jeff Gannon - what does that say about the integrity of the process?

2) He was cleared under his real name but allowed to use a fake name - what does that say about the integrity of the White House and little Scotty?

3. Not to mention

It's the White House policy to issue press credentials to married female reporters only under their husband's name, regardless of whether they took his name or not, and regardless of whether they write under their married name or their maiden name. It's a mean little oppression of women, casually practiced by a White House which doesn't respect women generally, and really dislikes uppity women.

But Mr. Gannon/Guckert/Goodbar can call himself anything he wants, and because he writes the "right" things, the White House goes along with it.

4. Judy Woodruff just did the Press Corps story

She couldn't figure out who was responsible for credentialing ANYONE at the WH. She ended by saying, since Scotty and the Press office both denied they had responsibility, it raised the question who? Which she DID NOT ANSWER!

Judy, didn't you used to be in the WH press corps? How did you get in?
