Dumbest bill of the day
And unfortunately it comes from a Democrat.

1. It is dumb. I was hoping that style
would just die out naturally, but now this dork has made it more attractive. Hopefully these kids will give it up now before they hit their middle years and start bagging and sagging as gravity takes over. Alas, it will make the proverbial comeback in about 30 years, too, just like bell bottoms and spandex have done.

Sigh.

2. Wanna Hear Something Funny...?
...I actually AGREE with this bill -- as fascist at it may be.

I brotha gets tired of looking at the crack of our youth's ass just because we think it's a fashion statement.

It's a "statement," alright: "I have no earthly idea how to use a fuckin' BELT..."

Pull up your pants or ante up. I LIKE that ultimatum... :thumbsup:

You may flame away now -- as if anyone needs my permission... :)

3. who cares about butt crack
if thy eye offends thee pluck thy own eye out and be done with it.

Anyway it's about bloomers more than buttcrack. It looks stupid, but so did the crap you old geezers used to wear to love-ins in the 60's and discos in the 70's, and never mind what your yearbook looked like in the 50's with bouffant marcelled hair and horn rim glasses and whoever invented the sansabelt should be publicly executed.

8. LOL!
Well, I'm not THAT old...

...but the stuff we used to wear in the 80's (tight high-water jeans, BIG glasses, flourescent socks, etc.) was scary enough.

And yes, there should have been a law against that stuff too. :)

6. It gets even better...

<snip>
By a 60-34 vote, House members passed a bill yesterday that would fine people up to $50 for intentionally exposing their underwear in a way that is "lewd or indecent" in public.
</snip>

It's gone from Objective ("I can see your underwear") to Subjective ("I can see your underwear, and it is being displayed in a manner which I consider "lewd and indecent").

Virginia is for Lovers (fully clothed, of course, and certainly not lewd or indecent).

Sigh. I just love my state.

7. Hard to believe there's nothing
more important to be concerned about, for instance war, SS 'reform', possible nuclear attacks, our economy going to hell in a hand basket, etc. :eyes:
