Is it moral to teach our children to kill in the name of "democracy"

What are we teaching our children when we support killing people and tearing up their country to make them practice the same kind of government, hold the same values, and have the same kind of economic system (capitalism) as ours? I find this tragic and immoral.

1. It is immoral to teach our children to kill for anything

Human instinct will tell them to kill if they have to (self defense), but we shouldn't be teaching them to kill anybody.

defense is the only time to kill anyone. We haven't fought a conventional war for our own defense since WW2. Afghanistan is debatable. Iraq, Vietnam, and Korea definitely not.

Christian. What about "thou shoult not kill"? "Turn the other cheek"? "Love thy neighbor"?
