Chuck Todd said to Judy Woodruff (about Dean) that the RNC will start

will start leaking baggage on Dean.. Judy is in a hissy about Dean and just loved the remarks by Todd. Now my thing is this staged by insider Dems to derail Dean since he seems to almost be the winner? Since the Repubs claim they wanted to go against Dean in the Presidential run why would they care if he is Chair? Todd may be talking out of his a-- as usual but let's wait to see if leaks occur.

4. My guess is that the Koch brothers set Dean up on the Vermont Yankee deal.
They probably pushed some papers through to make Dean look complicit in something dirty, knowing he was planning to run for president.

That's how they operate in the Bush Family Evil Empire, and the Koch brothers are two of its most loyal members.

Oddly, many here never think THAT'S a problem.

You may be right on this. I'm not too aware of the circumstances of the deal myself.

32. I always think there is a problem when the Koch brothers are involved.
I don't trust ANYthing they do because I believe they only do it to set people up, both dems and moderate Repubs, to get them to knuckle under, like blackmailers.

Old man Bush used to set up and blackmail members of his own party to get them to support Nixon on things they would normally be against.

Not hard to figure the Bushies have advanced their way to increased power by using this tactic for the last 3 decades.

hate anyone that may be a threat. It would not matter who was/is elected DNC chair, the right wing hate machine has its talking points in place; as well as the mouth breathers who will sit by and "independently" think about how right the RNC talking points are.

The 'Pukes haven't had to worry about a Democratic platform for a while because the DLC sends their candidates out with "we agree with everything the Republicans are doing. Uh, but we can do it better!"

With a reborn Democratic party on their ass, the Repigs will have to sell their record, and their record BLOWS.

23. Donna Brazille mentioned Dem "bottom feeders" out to stop Dean
I wonder if this is something they're planning on leaking and she's putting out a warning?

Seeing that Dean ran the gauntlet in the primaries and had his belly button lint thoroughly exposed (and as far as I know still has a clean bill of health) It's hard to see what they might have on him.

Of course no one said it had to be true.

No, this is the work of this evil administration. Haven't you noticed this administration's influence on the media & the same flavor of mean-spiritedness (character assassination) used against those they fear?

Dean's power lies in organization, fund-raising, & infectious enthusiasm, which is what the Democratic party needs right now. Who would benefit most from discrediting him?

DEMS may as well get used to it and start confronting the media whenever they lie.

Keep in mind, they would do this to any DEM leader, no matter what his/her position was on any given issue.

Now is a good time for us to let them take their best shots and continue to fight them back as hard as we can.

opposition research they have. I thought that was very telling. The purpose of leaking the opposition research is to get those Dems who are already afraid of Dean to turn on him before he gets things going. Todd also talked about trying to dry up fundraising in more conservative places through the research. So, essentially, it's a game of divide the Dems and it may work, but I sure hope we're smarter than that.

So it is probably that he performed abortions (did he?) or something like that. Maybe drug use. Certainly the joke comment that he would be the first gay president (a dumb and unfunny thing to have said as a joke).
