Now my thing is this staged by insider Dems to derail Dean since he seems to almost be the winner? Since the Repubs claim they wanted to go against Dean in the Presidential run why would they care if he is Chair? Todd may be talking out of his a-- as usual but let's wait to see if leaks occur.

opposition research they have. I thought that was very telling. The purpose of leaking the opposition research is to get those Dems who are already afraid of Dean to turn on him before he gets things going. Todd also talked about trying to dry up fundraising in more conservative places through the research. So, essentially, it's a game of divide the Dems and it may work, but I sure hope we're smarter than that.
