Just curious -- who will Dean's supporters blame if he becomes DNC chair?
Edited on Tue Feb-01-05 12:41 PM by dolstein
I find it kind of ironic that Dean's supporters are applauding all these endorsements Dean is getting, even though these endorsements are coming from the very same establishment party hacks they've been trashing for the past few years. And I can't help but wonder whether they'll be as kind to Dean as they've been to Terry McAuliffe. After all, they won't be able to blame the establishment anymore for whatever ails the Democratic Party. If he's party chair, that makes Dean the establishment.

1. Can it get worse than...
... McAuliffe and Kerry?

No.

5. Actually, yes, it can
While I thought Kerry was a lousy candidate, and said so during the primaries, his loss was nothing compared the the thrashing of George McGovern in 1972 or Mondale's crushing defeat in 1984.

4. dolstein, I'll blame you (haha).
What is this post about, putting down Dean supporters because they've got him in as Chair or putting down Dean because he's "establishment."

I'm happy a rabble-rouser is going to get elected and make some serious noise.

What is the purpose of your post. To provoke, put down. Inquiring minds want to know.
