Phone Calls? Anyone got some time for a phone call or two?

I'm looking for some help in making phone calls for the www.WasJesusTortured.com website. I have a script, and the phone numbers. Anyone got time to help out with this today? Thank you!!!

1. I was just thinking about that this morning, not the phone calls but the

subject. It seems to me that the most obvious parallel in that story is of the Pharisees ordering the torture and killing of Jesus. The Pharisees were the ruling class of clergy and Jesus threatened their power base. I have been struggling with the issue that so many prominent Christian Clergy have totally co-opted to the Bush Agenda and they look more pharisaical with each passing day. I remembered that the Jews that followed Jesus, denounced the Pharisees and their hypocritical actions. I find myself in the position of turning away from institutionalized religion and yet have retained my very strong faith. I don't see it as being much different than what happened then. The teachings of Jesus are being blasphemed by those in power, including the clergy as far as I am concerned.

is happening. I agree with you. My faith is extremely important to me, and I despise when people who PRETEND to follow the teachings of Jesus pervert the wisdom he offered into justifications for cruelty and evil. :(
