Poll Shows Kerry Surge in New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, N.H. — New Hampshire Democrats shifted their support from one neighbor to another, leaning away from the presidential hopeful from Vermont and toward the one from Massachusetts, a new poll shows.

Coming off his solid victory in Monday's Iowa caucuses, Sen. John Kerry (search) of Massachusetts was gaining support in New Hampshire, and pulled slightly ahead of former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean (search) in one poll. The Boston Globe/WBZ tracking poll indicated 27 percent of likely voters in the state favored Kerry, while 24 percent were for Dean.

Rounding out the poll were retired Gen. Wesley Clark (search) with 17 percent and Sen. John Edwards (search ) with 9 percent. The survey, conducted Monday and Tuesday nights, had a margin of error of 5 percentage points.

1. I saw that - the other poll has Dean still ahead by 2
The debate will settle the question, and will ride on who is presidential looking/acting/

Kerry could blow it with a long Senate speech like answer, Dean could show anger, Clark could show pride, - should be interesting to watch

3. So what is the opposite of surging?

Because if Clark was surging before, he is clearly doing the opposite now.
