That is the kind of shit that our government is trying to push down our throats with the lack of Sunni participation in the voting. How can a vote be legitimate when a whole group of people (20% of the population) didn't vote.

How would our country feel about an election if almost all of a minority population either refused or was too scared to vote, but the turnout was still decent in the rest of the population. I think that there would be more outrage about it.
