Boxer is only one of 50 senators, and can't do it alone.

God bless her, after all this "she's the only senator" talk, I fear what some people will do when she votes the wrong way on something again, like she did on Patriot.

I'm not living and dying by these people's last votes. And Kerry, like it or not, is the defacto leader of the Dem Party until he gets knocked off that perch.

I'm just expressing my feeling that John Kerry has lost his place as my personal hero in the Democratic pantheon.
