Poll question: Who is more powerful?
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 10:13 AM by HamiltonHabs32
Jon Stewart: The Daily Show, helped get Crossfire cancelled, Best selling book, could be the best newsman out there (honestly)

Michael Moore: Crusader for the little guy, best selling author, movies, tv shows, lots of money to spend on more projects, also brings the worst out of whomever he opposes.

edit: Doh, just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum... if a mod could move this to the general discussion forum that would be great. Thanks

2. I hate to put them head to head....
I enjoy and respect each of these two on the same level, but I want to know who you think is more powerful and explain why.

4. I like them both and think they are both powerful and
I am wondering why you chose two people who are obviously on the same side?

I would prefer a poll comparing different ideologies...oh, well..

6. thats why
I wanted to hear what people thought when comparing these two... I think Stewart could make a bigger impact over time.

anybody see his hour long interview (with QA session with network jounalists) on CSPAN... If you havn't you can download it on most P2P.

7. OK, but what DIFFERENCE does it make which of them has
greater impact since they are both delivering basically the same message. It would seem to me that we would hope that they would BOTH have greater and greater impact.

5. I'd say jon stewart
most people who watch michael moore these days have already made up their minds...plus he doesn't have a show every day to voice his opinions. Jon Stewart on the other hand could still suck in some conservatives, because he sticks it to dems every once in a while and has plenty of non-political segments. I can see Jon Stewart converting alot more people than michael moore. And hes alot funnier

8. I vote Michael Moore because in our town there are lots of working folks
who don't have cable tv, so they don't know too much abot Jon Stewart.
