Why are the repub senator so unoriginal?
Listening to each repub senator speech, they all follow the same line, with them going through Condi's greatest hits...

I remember thinking the same thing on 1/6, with the electoral vote debate, where they kept quoting from the editorials calling us sore losers.

I think it's time to go back to public speaking 101.

1. They are Rove Robots
They just spew Rove's talking points endlessly so the money tree will blossom when its re-selection time

2. Because Lutz says repetition is key.
He tells his clients they have to repeat their message until they're sick of hearing it themselves and maybe then someone has actually heard it. Staying relentlessly on message worked for them last term so they're trying it again this term.

3. Stepford Politicians
They all sound the same, look the same, think the same and they all follow orders from the Moron-in-Chief.

6. Because they all go to think tank jam sessions
And practice the same debate strategies using the same frames.

It's a great way to have everyone on message and hammer it home. But as has been the case, when a crisis occurs they have to wait until their leaders (Rove?) can set a strategy rather than jumping to action.

This is evident in the "Bush's $150,000 Tsunami offer" fiasco and his stumbling on the podium when hit by unexpected questioning.

9. Because they don't have to say anything else
They just repeat talking points and vote lock-step with the President. Their supporters don't care that they aren't saying anything.

10. Since the early 1980's republican candidates for nearly all federal and
state elective office have been trained by GOPAC to say the same things. This training now extends to republican pundits and talking heads. Republicans now are told nearly every day what say in public. They are organized and disciplined to a mind boggling degree.
