Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 05:17 PM by RaulVB
Because THEY ARE RESPONDING TO THEIR BASE, FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE LAST 25 YEARS, PROBABLY!

Pat on the back time for "US" and, yes, we should send them positive feedback!

Regarding Lieberman...Joe, don't let the door hit you...!

5. I called Lieberman's office and expressed my displeasure with is
stance. I called the CT Dems and ask that they find another Dem to run instead of him and told them * has enough repukes -- CT doesn't need to have on in Dem clothing. I was sort of pissed.

17. Inaccurate, false
They refused to challenge the OHIO vote in January 6th and many cooperate witht the regime on regular basis.

You are entitled to your own opinion.

Keep it civil, is not so hard.

24. Funny you should say "keep it civil"
when that is exactly why the Jan. 6 vote was not opposed. There was nothing to be accomplished by doing more than what was done- which was to force a debate on the voting problems.
Actully voting against Ohio's electors would have been suicide.

the great work a number of dems have been doing for years? It's just silliness. people have so bought into this "we have to grow a backbone" argument that they fail to recognize the many dems who have done their level best to represent us for years!

It was idiot Republicans in Congress who gave in to their base when they worked to impeach Clinton.

Dem lawmakers don't confront Republicans just because they can, they do it because of Ithe absurd level of INCOMPETENCE and DECEPTION demonstrated by Republican administrations, with Bush2 being the absolute worst of the lot.

and perjury is a very serious crime.

It's a much bigger crime, then lets say paying your nannie off the books.

37. Perjury
Now, to lie and take YOUR OWN COUNTRY TO WAR BASED ON LIES, that's an interesting debate.

It could be a "treasonable act", if you consider the effects of it, the loss of lives, national treasure, danger for national security, etc., etc.

The majority of those who voted for him Indiana probably support Rice - I know most support the war in Iraq, anyway.

Then again, he has a safe seat, and might be a candidate in 2008 - he's probably turning some to the left now to get more liberals behind him.

54. Either that or they finally realized
what the History books are going to say about the other Dems.

So weak and ultimately complicit in the evil that is destroying this country.

Not to mention that you give no quarter to liars and thieves. Because at the end of the day, maybe they can "win" but you have to look yourself in the mirror and know that if the ONLY thing you can do is tell the truth, that it means more than a thousand lies.

Having a conscience and a heart ALSO used to be what some of us thought it meant to be a Democrat.
