(I'm re-posting this since it got buried in #3)

I propose a blast to the Senate:

I'm gonna send a fax/note/email to all the Senators that says, simply:

Dear Senator So and So,

Before you vote on Ms. Rice's appointment as Secretary of State I urge you to carefully consider the following:

"I believe the title was 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States."

Respectfully,

Bla Bla

Dear Senator Lugar,

Thank you for your calm and steady leadership during the confirmation hearings for Dr, Rice.

Before you vote on Ms. Rice's appointment as Secretary of State I urge you to carefully consider the following:

"I believe the title was 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States."

Can you honestly, in good conscience, vote in her favour?

"The infamous 'meeting' between Atta and an Iraqi has now been debunked!"

"On March 9, 2003, Rice said "Now, al-Qaeda is dispersed but has had clear links to the Iraqis and we don't want Saddam to say one day that he has has 'enough' of dealing with America, and decide to release a 'vial'.""

"This has been an abuse of intelligence in order to provoke an Iraq war."

"...Dr. Rice's role in failing to establish peace when she took the helm of the "Iraq Stabilization Group"..... 1368 American deaths as of today. The cost of the war has spiraled to 149 billion, and the administration is getting ready to ask for 80 billion more."

be to unflinchingly stand before the people and back this administration in all its lies. To be active participants in the destruction of so many people's lives. It is even harder to admit how many morally bankrupt Dems stood by and, either by omission or comission, lent their consent to this mess.

151. Allen is trying justufy the war, in the absence of any WMD.
He is forgetting, however, that under International Law, which the US is bound to follow, there are only three reasons for a legitimate war:

1. Self-defense
2. Authorized by the UN Security Council.
3. To prevent Genocide.

None of these reason exist, thus the war was illegal.
