9. O.k. I thought they already voted before the inauguration
and only two Democratic Senators voted no? So they haven't voted yet and we don't know if she will be confirmed? I'm confused. Can anyone clear this up for me?

16. That was just the Foreign Relations Committee hearing to determine
whether a vote could even be held for confirmation.

34. Yes - many Dems will vote against
Unfortunately she will stil be confirmed and the MSM will not give these speeches much coverage. It will be portrayed as "Partisan bickering" :( Thank God for CSPAN . I'm at work and listening to it from their website coverage

11. Senator Bayh is a Republican, which makes this VERY awesome.

Oops. Sorry about that-I mispoke. I thought he was a Republican. I just saw the D in front of his name on C-SPAN.

Though he gets treated like one on this forum quite frequently. It may suggest he's positioning himself for '08, I hope so anyways.

35. It's a definite possibility
seems like a good way to begin to position himself, although he's a corporate Dem if ever there was one.

Too bad the MSM will bury this on page 99 and John Q Public (who thinks Michael Moore is a liar) will not read it. All the TV news will tell them is that Rice was approved
