Boxer represents the MAJORITY
Barbara Boxer has taken a lot of heat about her opposition to Condi Rice as well as being the only Senator to object to the Ohio Electoral vote.

But she doesn't deserve one moment of that heat over Condi Rice because Barbara Boxer is speaking for the majority of Americans!!!

Remember this: in poll after poll, a solid majority of American don't believe the invasion of Iraq was the right thing to do . In most cases it's something like 53% of people polled believe this. That's a solid majority and certainly MORE of a majority than Dubya's 50.8% popular vote.

Given that fact, Barbara Boxer now has one of the chief instigators of the Iraq invasion before the Senate, under oath. It is one of the few chances the MAJORITY has to hold someone accountable for the miscalcualtions, mistakes and LIES that got us into the mess in Iraq.

Senator Boxer is representing the majority who believe the war was/is a mistake and DEMAND that someone be held accountable.

think that if you royally screw up on your job, and 3,000 people die in one day, you should get fired, not promoted.

2. The anti-war numbers I've heard are more like 60%.
Boxer is acting in her own self-interest by being aggressive, and those Dems in Congress who fail to understand that will find themselves on the ash heap of history.

13. I haven't heard her say that the war was wrong.
However, if lies got us into it, that makes it wrong automatically.

10. You assume
That all those that oppose the war oppose Condi Rice. Why do you make that assumption? I haven't seen any polls that indicate that...

17. Damn straight she is!!
Don't forget that before the war, polls showed that the American public DID NOT SUPPORT INVADING IRAQ! Shrub did it anyway! Like he gives a rat's ass! I have complete faith in Boxer. Last night on local news, the newscaster ended the segment of the hearings by saying "YOU GO, GIRL!" I couldn't believe my ears! Finally!
