along with Reid, etc. He's talking about security...I don't know who else is there...Just mentioned China on "playing fair"---sounds like they're trying to win back the Perot vote.

It's called the American Promise.....and it's their legislative agenda...

Debbie Stabenow is one of them, plus two other men besides Reid. Don't know who. Oh, I think Dorgan is speaking now...

1. A platform for which they are willing to do what? These repug
lites have verbal diarrhea, they are unwilling to stand against the most awful people in this country's history. Schucker and SCreeed are both voting for both Condweazel and Torture boy, so why should I believe anything the say?

4. Stabenow isnt a GOP lite!
She voted against the war, is a great environmentalist, is pro-choice and voted against the Bush tax cuts. I worry for her seat in 06.

6. Stabenow is pretty good, people rag on her too much for DLC membership
I'd say that she is significantly to the left of most DLC members.

7. I didn't know Debbie was a DLCer! Whoa! But she's great!
She did a press conference last week with Byron Dorgan regarding the NOT BROKEN social security system. Said the aim of the Rethugs is to turn that money over to their Wall Street friends. Said how little it costs the government to administer, went on to list a series of REAL crises that need to be addressed. I'm proud to call her and Senator Levin my senators. I couldn't ask for any TWO better senators, really.
