Thousands of protestors poured into McPherson Square in Washington today around noon to the sound of Steve Earle's anthem "The Revolution Starts Now." We gave Granny D (Doris Haddock) the honor of welcoming the tremendous crowd that marched over from Dupont Circle where Code Pink and other feminist organizations gathered and began their march. That was impressive enough. But when ANOTHER incredibly colorful and diverse march arrived from the DC Anti-War Network (DAWN) and McPherson Square had well over 10,000 people in it. Orange Left.org armbands and banners were everywhere and the diversity of the crowd there to protest was tremendously impressive -- every bit as diverse as America itself. Tune in our video at 11:00 PM tonight HERE (Windows Media | Real Player) and see for yourself!
