George W. bush LIES. A lot. Often. Big lies. Little lies.
The man lies like a sidewalk. Lies Lies Lies. Unlike Clinton's sex lie, bush's lies cause people's deaths. Hundreds of thousands of people's deaths. Besides his lies being criminal and vile and evil, it's also damned embarrassing.

For one, because half my fellow countrymen fall for bush's constant stream of lies. To live in a nation half-filled with really stupid people isn't something anyone but other really stupid people would be proud of.

And two, the entire world KNOWS bush lies. Like a sidewalk. bush isn't fooling them. Read any country's media any day of the week and you'll find bush's lies being pointed out for the lies they are. It's bad enough us knowing bush is a big fat liar; knowing the WORLD knows bush is a big fat liar is REALLY embarrassing.

bush lies about EVERYTHING. He's an equal opportunity liar; economy, jobs, taxes, the deficit, his invasions, himself...NOTHING is prohibited from bush lying about it.

He even lies about his religiousness. He declares his invasion of Iraq "just"...even though his own church leaders say his invasion of Iraq is not just. He says he's "religious", even though his own church leaders say he is not. Or maybe bush knows "religion" and "just" better than his own church leaders do.

Plain and simple, and very provable, bush is a liar.

"I've been to war..." Lie.

"I continued to fly with my unit for several more years..." Lie.

"We gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in." Lie.

"I was in Florida. And ... I was sitting outside classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower - the TV was obviously on, and I used to fly myself, and I said, 'There's one terrible pilot.'" Lie.

bush's "trifecta" remark he claims to have made during the 2000 campaign; Lie. That was Al Gore's remark, not yours, bush. You liar.

Just in his 3 debates with debate-winner Kerry, bush lied and lied and lied and lied and lied. Even the rightwingnut pundits had to admit to a slew of bush's lies.

"I never said I wasn't worried about Osama bin Laden" Lie.

"Non-homeland, non-defense discretionary spending was raising at 15 percent a year when I got into office. And today it's less than 1 percent, because we're working together to try to bring this deficit under control." Lie.

bush lied about cutting Pell grants, he lied about job numbers lost, he even lied about whether he had wood.

Still the freeping rightwingnuts claim bush has never told a lie. Only in America can so many be so stupid...and live past puberty.

And for tons of True Bush Lies, David Corn's book, The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception is excellent.

Here's a 4-page article of David's; "The Other Lies of George Bush" with a slew of bushlies;

LOTS of bush lies, with quotes & referances;

5. Cowards Lie
Cowards lie because they do not have courage in their convictions and/or because they suspect that their true motives would not stand the light of day. Bullies bluster for the same reasons. An apologist for a liar is either ignorant or a sad and desperate creature.

7. the opposite of being ''gore'd''
that was the first thing that came to mind as i was reading this.
the media creates a fiction re: al gore and his fabrications -- contrast that with a world class liar{where are those pesky w.m.d.'s} and america's acceptance of him.

there can be little doubt that amerca is slip, sliding into a very dark place -- and i'm not sure there is enough liberal muscle to pull us out no matter what happens in the near future.
your assessment of one half of america is right on -- and that spells big trouble.

that's the heart of the myth.
but now it has become a warped and sickly thing, energized by it's delusions -- social conservatism, family values, etc.

11. can we please start referring to * supporters
as one THIRD of America at best? A third actually voted for him (assuming the numbers are correct, which I do not really believe), a third voted for Kerry and a third didn't vote.

I refuse to acknowledge that half of our country is that greedy, selfish, and/or miraculously uninformed. A third ... maybe.

In this campaign full of GOTV, I think it's safe to say that the non-voting third do not support Bush. Especially if you consider that long lines and scare tactics probably account for many of the non-voters also.

is the way the righties NEVER answer a question.

Q: Where are the weapons of mass destruction?
A: You are unAmerican.

Q: Why spend so much money on the inaguration of a president who is already in office?
A: Why don't we stop having the Oscars?
(that was an Ann KKKoulter response on Hannity and Colmes last night)

14. True. He needs to be ridiculed for his compulsive and incessant lying.
Except for the American media the entire world knows that Bush is one of the most compulsive and incessant liar in the history of American politics.

There is no subject so somber, serious, or shallow that Bush will not lie about it. The only other option is not to lie. And that apparently is something Bush can not do.

For example:

Bush says he fell off his bicycle because of the heavy rains and he watched on television on the morning of 9/11 as the first plane hit the first WTC tower and John McCain has an illegitimate Negro daughter and Bush would veto McCain-Feingold and the yawning boy was not there and was not yawning and besides he was standing some place else and Richard Clarke had complete access to Bush and Rice which proves that Clarke was out of the loop which is Clinton's fault but the White House revealed that Clarke briefed the press on background about Bush fighting terrorism which means that unnamed White House sources may not be identified even when Bush wants to and everyone except Bush himself knows where he was during his National Guard service but it was Clinton's fault that Bush did not show up for duty which was after Bush volunteered to go to Viet Nam but before he was no longer required to take a flight physical and about the same time that God ordered him to smite Saddam because the 70 lines of embryonic stem cells and more arsenic in the water and more mercury in the air and the completely safe air in New York City folowing 9/11 prove that republican science is better than sound science and the Bush administration did not illegally conspire to illegally reveal the identity of a covert CIA operative which resulted in 2 million new jobs being created because democrats support terrorism and are not good Americans just as the Jews were not good Germans which is why Bush said he would veto the creation of both the Department of Homeland Security and the 9/11 Commission but now claims credit for their creation and the White House cooperated with the 9/11 Commission which is why the White House withheld documents and called the republicans on the Commission before Clarke testified and why the White House did not coordinate the attacks on the integrity and bipartisanship of the Commission and why Bush and Cheney negotiated with the Commission that the two of them would testfy one time only but never again since the dental xrays prove that Bush spoke with the CIA director everyday and did not ignore either the repeated warnings of the dangers of al Qaeda and Osama or the August 2001 intelligence briefing specifically warning of the upcoming 9/11 attacks because the United States is a nation with a mission and that mission is to bring freedom to every single person in the world which will cut the deficit in half if you do not count those parts of the deficit which will increase under Bush which is Clinton's fault but the boxes from China were labeled "Made in USA" which resulted in 2.6 million new jobs being created even though the $400 billion Medicare prescription drug decorative turkey was not labeled $550 billion and was passed without bribery or criminal deception and was not criminally promoted by the Bush administration using taxpayers' money for propaganda purposes which proves that government spending under Bush has gone down if you do not count the increased government spending under Bush which is Clinton's fault just as acts of terrorism have decreased since 9/11 if you do not count the increase in the number of acts of terrorism and Bush's plane to Baghdad was spotted because before Saddam bought the uranium and became an "urgent" but not an imminent threat which is Clinton's fault Bush had no plans on his desk to invade Iraq since the invasion was not planned before Bush took office even though it was the subject of his first national security council meeting in February 2001 and in December 2001 when plans for the invasion were being finalized Bush said he was focused on the military operations in Afghanistan and then the Carrier Costume Party was too far offshore for the Navy to make a large enough "Mission Accomplished" banner to describe the WMD we have found in Iraq some of which Saddam was giving to Osama for following Saddam's plans and using Iraqi hijackers on 9/11 which is Clinton's fault but everyone who pays income taxes got a tax cut which created 3 million new jobs and allowed Iraqi oil revenue to pay for the cost of the reconstruction of Iraq after the invasion by a small number of troops who would be greeted with floral program related activities except for the dead and wounded troops who are being brought home secretly which is Clinton's fault since Bush is the one who hugs the mothers and the widows and the wives and the kids and since Bush does not watch television news he did not know about the republican torture pranks occurring in Iraq until he saw the pictures while watching television news and that is why Bush who will use the jawbone of an ass to force OPEC to open the spigots and who is responsible for good economic numbers but not bad economic numbers which are Clinton's fault wrote the poem that he did not write blaming Laura for dropping the dog.

Ridiculing Bush for his compulsive and incessant lying needs to become common.

FIRE THE LIAR

RW uses it constantly, but they have access to MSM. Here is the most easily ridiculed administration ever and the gloves never came off in the campaign. We need exposure though.

16. My favorite lie was his lie about the IAEA saying Saddam could have
a bomb in 6 months. I heard this on TV. It happened Sept 8 2002 with Tony Blair at his side in Camp David I believe and the press were all dutifully awed by this statement. I was too in fact. I thought, well maybe Bush is right after all if it's that seriuos. Only problem was that when somebody called the IAEA, they found out the IAEA hadn't said anything of the kind, in fact had said that Saddam couldn't even start work on a bomb for 5 years, even assuming he was able to get the materials. Just an outright lie. And it wasn't the WAP or NYT that called the IAEA; it was some reporter from the WA Times. Ck it out on Google.

24. Lying is the theft of truth; To kill is theft of life.
In this case both sins are driven by greed and are bound together.

Maybe if they hadn't lied about Iraq...WMDs, Saddam's connection with Al-qaeda, etc., We wouldn't have gone there...?

Maybe if they hadn't lied about what the outcome would have been like, we would have been better prepared?

25. The Bush* voters don't care
I had one I know actually say that "he didn't trust Kerry." Kerry, who is a confirmed veteran and war hero is less worthy of trust than a confirmed deserter and draft dodger, in addition to liar. He voted for Bush* anyway. Another is a dittohead who can't think for himself. :eyes:

I won't feel sorry for them when Bush* drafts their kids.
