Dole calls Clark a "colonel instead of a general." Clark blasts him...
Also says he thinks Clark will lose.

On CNN's "Larry King Live," where Clark was filmed from his New Hampshire headquarters, former senator Bob Dole told Clark that Kerry was a threat, and that after the Iowa caucuses, "politically, you became a colonel instead of a general."

"Sir," Clark replied, "with all due respect, he's a lieutenant, and I'm a general."

A few (barbs) were thrown at Clark on Larry King Live. Senator Bob Dole says he thinks the General will lose.

(Wesley Clark, Democratic Presidential Canidate) "Oh, let's be honest Senator, Americans want a change in leadership, I'm the only one whose done foreign policy"

Clark talked to king from his New Hampshire headquarters. There, he'll watch Bush's State of The Union speech and give feedback. Then, Clark will move on to shake hands with voters in South Carolina.

The next stop for all the candidates is New Hampshire.

2. The interview was going along well until......

Dole decided to attack Clark, first telling him he would not win NH and then telling him that in politics he was a Colonel and Kerry a General but Clark stayed cool and gave Dole a verbal smackdown........

3. Cool?
Room temp, I'd say. I've never seen Bob Dole 'cringe' like a spanked puppy before. That was neat.

11. The problem..
...will probably be that the questions in any debate will be given to both camps before the debates.

There won't be questions about 911 foreknowledge, Shrub will blame the Iraq fiasco on bad intel, and Karl Rove will hand him a script that he can read off...

It will be difficult to stump the Chimp in such a staged theatre event.

An open-ended debate would lead to his demise at the hands of Clark, Kucinich, Dean or practically anyone with a 'liberal' education, for that matter.

4. Yes he did
and, "with all due respect...sir..."

And the press begins baiting Clark and Kerry. Let's hope we're all above this nonsense.

better Vietnam service record.

Let's hope they don't take the bait.

5. Trying to demote him down to the shrub's level?
Jeepers, they must be terrified of Clark if they have to so nakedly and desperately attempt to demote him from general down to "AWOL/deserter." Keep trying, Mr. Dole. It only makes you look more sad and more desperate. LMAO

8. Bob Dole...GO AWAY!
Dear Senator Dole:

Please stop hitting the snooze button for your fifteen minutes of fame, THEY'RE UP!! Yes, you are a bona fide war hero. Yes, you shouldered your party's banner in a hopeless race.

Then, you became a media whore, shilling for everything from Pepsi to Viagra (gross!). Ask yourself, would either Barry Goldwater or Hubert Humphrey have twisted political honor into Spokesmodel-dom. I think not.

Have some class and dignity and stop shilling for every pre-packaged product to come down the pike, including W.

Thank You
