Yep. What a caring compassionate man. As long as you're not one of them "we the little people" unwashed masses.

1. Yeah, that's the "compassionate" part of the
"compassionate conservative." "He's compassionate to the rich and convervative to everyone else," said Dick Durbin.

Otherwise, as bush put it, "I don't understand how the poor think".

And don't forget to notice this bit:

But behind the scenes, investment firms and other pro-privatization business groups have reportedly met with White House and Congressional leaders. Many executives also raised millions of dollars in campaign contributions to Bush and other Republican leaders.

HELLO AMERICA!!! You're being FUCKED without even a kiss!

6. We live in a world where they get away with this shit.
Isn't that depressing? I'm having such a hard time finding anything to be optimistic about lately. They get away with blatent corruption, and the corporate media never calls them out on it.

4. Tribune headlines the obvious--
the only people sure to be better off are the stock industry types. Not beneficiaries, not taxpayers: whether they will be better off is a matter of debate, complicated policy decisions, and luck.

If the markets do well, we do well, they win lots. If the markets plumit, we loose lots, they win again.
