This is a great article in the Denver Post regarding citizen initiatives

and their impact on politics. Republicans despise this here in Colorado, but our Dem's love this kind of support. We have been very successful doing things through grassroots efforts here in Colorado. It is time to take this to the national level. We replaced two previously Republican held position's here in Colorado, one Senator one Representative on the national level and our Dem's have the majority again in our State House and Senate.
