that (Jennifer Giroux) punishes the good along with the bad and that is a hard theological concept to grasp. Yes, it is for me!

12. so let me see if i have this right
In scarborough Country it's ok to do your show based on the rnc talking points and maybe to have killed your intern but it's not ok for the government to have a payola scheme with Williams? OK, something seems a bit off here, i think maybe the rw loons are protesting a tad too much and doing a bit of over correcting.

15. Never mind Williams
Never mind Williams taking the money. Although highly unethical, it's not illegal for him. Let's focus on the administration. It will be interesting to see who they put forward to catch the flaming arrow on this one.

14. Williams was a no-show.
And Scarborough was pissed, and pissed about the ramifications. What Williams did was 'unethical or illegal'? Scarborough, who I loathe but he has had some 'moments' that I agreed with , mentioned "betraying readers' trust", "violation of every ethical order", "prostituting yourself", etc., all in relation to Armstrong Williams. The shit might be hitting the fan!

17. Armstrong Williams
Mr. Williams is a snake. Taking $250,000 of our tax money to
push Bush's education agenda. That snake should give back
every dollar!! Needlesss to say, Bush will get away with
this, as congress turns a blind eye as usual!!

18. I don't know. It might be starting to unravel.
Shrubbie had a bad day today, and it's not stopping here. Ironically, it has nothing to do with what happened yesterday, like 'saving our Democracy', but the dirty tricks might be catching up with the 'holes.

19. Armstrong is toast and isn't because he is a media whore
These guys will happily burn a man of color if screws up and gets caught. Now if he was fat assed, drug addicted white boy that got caught, that would be a whole different ball of wax. If he was a pencil necked, baseball statistic spouting, Caucasian, columnist that got caught getting paid by Conrad Black to write stories without revealing it, that would no problemo. If he was a white, bible toting, hypocritical piece of dung moralist that liked to dump millions into slot machines and cavort with Vegas hookers, he would be salvageable. No, Armstrong's biggest problem with the revelation that they "showed him the money" and he took it is that he has the wrong skin color. The conservatives are gonna hang this guy out to twist in the wind.

23. Armstrong didn't get the memo

that said he is just another Black that that they put out to take the heat and go down in the end.

He thought he was White and that the disregard for Blacks by the BushBigots did not apply to him.

Look in the mirror Armstrong and see the truth.

Conservatives have nothing to do with it at this point. It is the profession.

29. Sell outs of all colors never see this shit coming
So many of these motherfuckers act as if they are immune. It is as if they really think they get the free pass for the depth of their sell out. In the work I do there never seems to be a shortage of suckers willing to play on the man's terms and not their own. They always come running back to the fold when they come to.

21. Pocket change
A snip from Bamford's book--typed, so no link:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

At the same time, a similar exclusive TV deal was offered to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation through freelance tele-journalist Paul Moran...But it was later discovered the Moran was anything but a disinterested journalist. It turns out he had previously worked extensively for Chalabi and the INC, making anti-Saddam propaganda films. Worse, he also worked for a shadowy American company, The Rendon Group, that had been paid close to $200 million by the CIA and Pentagon to spread anti-Saddam propaganda worldwide...

The firm is headed by John W. Rendon, a rumpled man often seen in a beret an military fatigues, who calls himself “an information warrior and a perception manager.” Its specialty is manipulating thought and spreading propaganda...Soon after the attacks of September 11, the company received a $100,000-a month contract from the Pentagon to offer media strategy advice...

The Rendon Group’s specialty--to gin up the American public’s fear over Saddam Hussein. If so, it would have been illegal under U.S. law, which forbids the use of taxpayer money to propagandize the American public. (A Pretext for War, Bamford, 295-298)

24. I read somewhere that it wasn't illegal for Williams to TAKE
the money (highly unethical, but that's not generally a problem for a repug) but there are laws on the books against the government paying, promoting, requesting, etc. propaganda. That's a big no, no. There is a long, lovely history of that in Nazi Germany - guess BushyBot paid more attention in history class than we first thought (or Cheney told him it was OK, laws aren't laws but just suggestions).

OK, we are going to need a spreadsheet to keep straight which government official is going to bite the bullet for each and every BushyBot's screw-ups.

And another to track the impeachable offenses. I'm starting to forget a few the list is getting so long.
