I'm a Dean supporter, but after watching his concession...
Ouch! It was painful, embarressing to watch. I like the guy and have donated to him, but man, that was ugly. Clark seems to be looking less and less bad all the time.

I know, I shouldn't be so judgemental, and everyone makes mistakes. But damn. :wtf:

2. I couldn't agree more.
I host the meet ups here and have had several emails about it already. I think he really turned people off with that...tirade. I know in Oct and Nov I do not want to hear that over and over and over on the airwaves in commercials.

3. Was it his concession speech that everyone is talking about?
I've read posts that say it cost him, implying it cost him Iowa. But if it was a concession speech then clearly I am inferring something that is not there.

In any event I haven't seen or heard the speech so I cannot say either way.

5. It was bad, but
I think the SOTU will put it to bed, tonight. His problems go a bit deeper than that speech, imho. NH will tell the tale, one way or another.

I still love your banner. :)

6. Well, if it's any consolation,
you aren't the only one to feel that way. It was quite embarrassing. A friend of mine, who is not a political junkie...like me...just called me and asked about the Dean speech..."What the hell was THAT all about?" She's undecided right now and leaning toward Clark too. Don't feel bad, you're not alone.

8. His campaign staff should have seen what

was going to happen and given him horse tranqs or something. He was totally wired. Something like that taints the party somewhat, too. I've been turned off to him for some time but I felt bad for him-- and feel bad every time they run the clip again. CNN is referring to his "exuberance" but I've read Fox is being less kind. Was his wife still there?

11. Next time he runs, he should hire different handlers....
...and listen to them.

He really showed his behind last night. I feel bad for the guy, and his supporters.
