2. He said Edwards is better than Clinton.

I suspect he's right. Edwards is really good. He first impressed me at the Harkin Steak Fry.

5. Nothing against Edwards, but....
I'm inclined to agree. I think Carville's beliefs are closer to his wife's than many realize. The DLC is poison and if 2002 didn't end all doubt about that, then the horrible negativity of the DLC towards the "former" frontrunner in this campaign should make it more than obvious.

it was important to fight hard for Clinton against Republicans.

Have you ever cried when you tried to tell people why it was important they vote for someone?

That's a GREAT documentary. One of the 5 best politcal documentaries ever.

9. Maybe you should...
... and not throw the baby out with the bathwater. You can disagree with Carville, but do not discount him.

7. If you can't transfer your policies into the voter's consciousness...
via a great articulation of for what you stand, you might as well pack up and go home.

10. good point AP
It does count how effective ones gives their position. For me, first consideration is positions and viability (which can be linked, but not dependent on stump speech delivery). Once I become comfortable there, then the communication and appearance are the next I consider.
