McGovern endorses Clark.

Besides a nice endorsement, the whole irony of this is interesting (Clark voted for Nixon long ago, the whole Dean=McGovern thing), but there you have it.

3. Given that McGovern
lost and lost big in 1972, and a slam on Dean is that he's like McGovern and therefore will lose big if nominated, I fail to see that an endorsement from McGovern is good for anyone. Maybe it's really the kiss of death.
