1. That's sad considering Kucinich campaigned in Iowa and Clark didn't.

2. Except Clark didn't run in Iowa
Is this supposed to mean something?

4. I know that, of course.
I just like hearing you guys say it. What, has the Wes Clark "phenomenon" been banned from the Iowa airwaves? Ralph Nader visited all 50 states when he campaigned last -- what's Clark's and Lieberman's excuse?

Clark entered way too late to go to Iowa. It's a gamble, and it will either pay off or it won't. John McCain skipped Iowa and still did very well. Bill Clinton skipped Iowa and won the election. Judging by Clark's poll numbers around the nation, he's not in bad shape to compete.

6. It means that he did almost as well as DK without lifting a finger
Clark's campaign is nothing to be sneezed at.

3. He also beat Sharpton, who actually participated in Iowa
BTW, those results are for only about 20% of precincts. CNN has complete results on thier website. And I am glad that Al Sharpton's race-baiting was rewarded with a big fat goose egg.

but with either Kucinich's 1% or Clark's 0% or for that matter Gephardt's 11% it gets them 0 delegates from Iowa at the Democratic national convention. peace david :hippie:

If you insist on playing the poll game, I'll put on my defensive armor and note this: Distance from Dean to Kerry - 18.3 Distance from Clark to Dean - 17.8 Looks like Clark's being in NH hurt him about as much as Dean's being in Iowa. (damn... reactionary and harsh... but it's hard to stay above the fray when we keep getting drug through the mud.)

He beat Lieberman too, and that is a very good thing indeed.
