Good Work Iowa!
Congratulations to the Democratic primary voters in the state of Iowa. No matter who you voted for tonight, all of you are to be applauded. You used your franchise intelligently and you made the candidates earn your support. Also, you voted with your heads and your hearts: you considered electability and realized that you were not only making a statement, but also to nominate a candidate who can defeat the Great Satan in November. I only wish the majority of voters in this country were as sharp as the Democratic primary voters of Iowa.

2. Thank You
We have spanked this baby and sent it down the road.

Now its time for the rest of the country to toss it around for a wile.

In the end the best we can hope for, no matter who it grows up to look like, is that it will become president.

4. What's with you dreissig ???
Got some serious jealously showing through. The process just started tonight, you will have your moment too. This is far from over.

The Democrats time is now!!! Go Edwards, Go Kerry! What a ticket that would be for us. Now, God bless them all as they go forward from here.

8. Not Jealousy
Not jealousy, political values. Remember them? People used to stand up for them.

Yes, an election is a popularity contest, but there are really important things at stake. How about the lives of thousands of people killed in Iraq and Afghanistan? John Kerry could have done something to stop the war, but he voted for it.

5. I disagree...
I think it shows that there are other things on the minds of american people other than the war in Iraq.

Look at it this way. Whether someone voted IWR or not is meaningless now. We are there already and we need a plan to get out and fix our relations with a bunch of countries not bicker about what already happened.

What is an immediate problem is our economy and lack of jobs among other things...those are immediate problems that Iowans seemingly cared more about.

Anyone who has followed Kerry's career would realized that the last thing he is, is a war monger.

7. You could be right

I hope other states will show themselves to be more 'in touch' than some in Iowa have. But, it could also be an indication of a more widespread habit of people spending too much time sitting in front of the TV becoming more and more Misinformed.

6. Great choices
I'm a Clark supporter but I was happy to see the results in Iowa. I'm happy with Iowa's decisions on Kerry and Edwards. I always thought Dean was over-hyped and over-sold.
