The key to putting Florida back into the Democratic camp starts
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 08:45 AM by deminflorida
with the Florida Democratic party along with help from the DNC to hold state republicans responsible for this one issue....

"Starting today, four months after Hurricane Charley made landfall, the Florida Legislature will decide how to offer help to consumers and insurers alike.

From the people’s perspective, their government’s agenda should be clear:

Floridians want the state to enforce deadlines and standards for insurers.

They want reasonable deductibles.

They are willing to help insurers pay claims by easing access to public catastrophe funds.

They oppose easing regulations on insurers by a 3-to-1 margin, a statewide poll for the News Journal and Gannett News Service found.

In addition to the poll, residents interviewed throughout the state said they feel vulnerable or uninformed in often-trying negotiations with insurance companies."

My guess is that the Repubs take the side of the insurance companies...

1. Keeping our eyes on the "easing regulations on insurers" issue
.... that's where the deal makings are going to take place and you can bet your ass the republicans will allow the insurers to come out on top.

2. It's not going to happen until the voter fraud issues are resolved
If you press the Dem button and it records Republican, you may as well forget it.
