If Kerry wins, what will happen to his Senate seat?
Is a Democrat going to run for it or can Mitt Romney appoint a Republican? I haven't heard anyone talk about this.

1. Kerry is not up in 2004, was re-elected in 2002
and Romney would appoint.

2. I brought this up last week
I guess Mitt Romney could apppoint a temporary senator which would of course be a republican. This is the only downside. I guess I shouldn't worry about it though cuz I really want Kerry to win!!

Hopefully he will be replaced with a senator who won't sell us out on such vital votes as the IWR, Patriot Act, Homeland Security Act, the death penalty, crime bills, anti-terrorism bills, WTO, and NAFTA the way Kerry has.
