14. Exactly, the war is still going on in Iraq
and a lot of people have died or been wounded because of that wicked and evil IWR vote cast by Senate millionaires.

15. Hey, I'll go with WHOEVER, eventually.
Right now, it's still Dean for me. Clark second. Then it's a toss-up between Kerry and Edwards - Edwards because I saw a lot of him on CSPAN over the weekend and I really was impressed. Kerry because he's got Joseph Wilson and Rand Beers on his team. ALTHOUGH YOU'D NEVER KNOW IT BY WHAT USE HE'S MADE OF THEM SO FAR...

17. I don't think I agree
...but do you mean bad as a President, or it would be bad for them to win NH? I don't think it would be any worse for Kerry to win NH than for Dean to do so. In fact, it might be better. Kerry has apparently turned his campaign around by replacing his staff and refocusing his message.

The results tonight in Iowa show that the voters there weren't looking for someone who is against the war, but rather for someone they trust to get us out of the mess we're in there, and someone who has the experience to keep us from getting there again. The news coverage, in discussions with individual voters, showed that the Iowans believe that Bush lied about the intelligence leading up to the War; so who voted for or against the IWR isn't so much of an issue anymore. And maybe it showed that Iowans didn't really trust Howard Dean, at least on foreign policy.

I think Edwards really got a boost from doing well at the Iowa debate, and from the newspaper endorsement that it landed him. There's a debate coming up in NH, and I for one am looking forward to it!

20. You can't trust the man that got you into a mess to get you out!
That's what disqualifies the pro-IWR candidates.

How big of a bump will Edwards get in New Hampshire? We all know Kerry will get a big bump.

3. Kucinich is my first, Dean is my Second
and CLark is my third. The thing I really don't like about Clark is his support of the School of the Americas. I guess he suscribes to the old southern belief that they aren't really people if they aren't white.

9. Many of "them" are "white"
"Hispanic" is not a "race". Many "Hispanic" countries are majority "white" and there are substantial "white" minorities in many "Hispanic" nations.

29. Clark on the School of the Americas
Clark has been very clear about his support for the School of the Americas. He decries certain aspects of its earlier history. He points out that while some of the trained soldiers did terrible things that they were a minority. He points out that the curriculum has been extensively revised to include 60 hours of instruction on human rights. He claims that we can be smarter about which governments to support. He claims it's better to have a hand in what's going on in Central and Latin America than not. In sum, the school -- as revamped -- does have a place.

35. Clark is pro-Affirmative Action, filed an Amicus Brief on the U of Mich.
He is a VERY strong supporter of the African American community - one of the things I like about him. Check the facts next time.

Presidential Candidate Wesley Clark is a Strong Supporter of Affirmative Action in College Admissions:

....General Clark has a solid record of support. He along with 13 other former military officers filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court case involving the University of Michigan affirmative action program for undergraduate admissions.

21. Clark!
Clark has what Kerry has, plus charisma. But I do think the momentum of Kerry and Edwards will be serious for us in NH.

Once we move to Feb 3rd, Clark should start sweeping up the delegates.

32. A big turn-around for me....
Formerly, I was a MAJOR Clark basher. I've made a total turn-around, and now feel strongly that Clark should be the Pres., and if he's REALLY REALLY smart, he would ask Kerry to be his running mate.

I finally folded on Dean. He's not capable of bringing this country back together as a family. I believe, as polarized as we are, that Clark would be the best person to do this...to represent MOST of the repukes, as well as MOST of the Dems.

I'm liberal, progressive, populist, plain and simple, without apology. But first, I care about our country as a whole. We're being torn apart at the seams by the radical right wing extremists. If, in my wildest imagination, we were being torn apart by radical left wing extremists, I would still think Clark would answer the middle road of wisdom and balance.

I want Kerry to be right at the top, as well, because I truly believe he would go after the criminal mafia that has taken over the country. I think he'd make sure some key figures were locked up and put UNDER the jails, where they surely belong.

Clark, to me, outranks Kerry in so many ways, not just through their previously achieved military ranks. But like any good (marriage) partnership, Kerry would bring incredible strength and justice to bear on a joint ticket. America needs these crooks that have taken over to be put in their place publicly. Kerry came out against BBV, and his previous record on bringing congressional hearings on the BFEE are commendable. I truly believe he is serious about this part. And I think Clark can turn around the problems bush has created in our global standing. Clark has a bigger picture of a true leader's place in the world. And he wouldn't bend over to the chicken hawk PNACers who want to go to war just for macho "sport".

The thing is, we do have to worry about terrorists blowing up innocent people -- both Osama AND George Bush & cronies. The world is exploding right now, and we need a strong voice of reason and balance to bring about the kind of world that Dennis Kucinich might envision. But the world isn't there yet...we have to go through an interim period of "reasoning" and reckoning before we're ready for Kucinich's vision. I believe a Clark - Kerry ticket could do that.

I only wish the votes were really under the control of the people who cast them, instead of the criminals who are raping, pillaging, and plundering their way into our voting machines. Then I wish we also had a truly diversified and visionary press. Until we get back our votes and a free press, we're going to keep falling into the abyss of mafia as government.

This next election is our last chance before we're totally taken over by the mafia.
