10. lol, hatrack
I suffered for a couple of years - being on their list of people to harass about subscribing to the paper. Finally I told them I was a pinko liberal and homosexual. They never called back.

:eyes:

A Union Leader endorsement is like saying - time to change parties, son - to Lieberman.

4. I guess he was the closest they could get...
To a Repub in the Dem. primary, so they went with him!x(

It's a shame they're going to turn their backs on all those unemployed Hampshirites in November and endorse Dub...what fools those at the Union Leader be!

B-)

5. I was going to post this myself- here are some of my favorite lines:
"It is also why the Bush White House had better hope that Lieberman, longshot that he is in a party race dominated by far-left views, doesn?t somehow catch fire here next Tuesday....
Lieberman has walked an independent line on limited school vouchers, tax cuts, and on the filth that passes for Hollywood entertainment these days. He speaks out unabashedly about his religious convictions and refuses to campaign on the Jewish sabbath.
Make no mistake. We have great differences with many of his social and big-spending positions. His stand on abortion is classic liberal, giving lip service to wanting it to be ?safe, rare and legal? but voting in a way that encourages it."

Don't you just love it when they talk about the party race being "dominated by far-left views"

I also like teir comments on "the filth that passes for Hollywood entertainment" and about Lieberman's abortion position being "classic liberal."

The Union Leader is just as good for a laugh as it was 20 years ago--but now, in light of how far to the right the center has shifted, it's a lot scarier.

11. They have such a great outdoors section too
but since a Union Leader has never been in my house I have to get all my news from out of state. Here's to the Boston Globe.

To those wondering, the other dailies really do suck wind except the Concord Monitor even though they endorsed Kerry.

9. Keep in mind these are the same idiots that endorsed
Fat Pukecannon and Steve (taxes, what taxes?) Forbes in the last two elections. Joe McQuaid, the editor there, is a doofus.
