Knew it.

All the polls beared it out. "If I can't win I'm taking my toys and going home"

Bush loves it.

The initial post is nothing but a deliberate taunt to Dean supporters, a rubbing of salt in the wound, and an open invitation to a flame war. Were it within MY power, I would have locked the damn thing. Frankly, it reminds me of the same behavior 3rd-grade schoolyard bullies engage in.

There is NO WAY to establish those as Clark supporters. Not a single Clark supporter posted an actual response indicating that they would vote for Bush over Dean. Nor have any made those comments on any thread that I have seen.

All of the not ABB folks that I've seen post come from Dean supporters and to some extent the far left progressives here.

First: It ain't over. There are 49 other states.

Second: NOBODY throws away a vote this year.

Third: We're out to BEAT BUSH.

All the rest is commentary. The programs, the plans, there isn't a dime for them anyway. We are being poisoned by fascism and there is no America if we do not DEFEAT BUSH.

Now slap 'em upside the head and tell 'em to get to NH.

20. Maybe among first-timers, but those of us committed to ousting
bush don't think that way at all.

I've supported Dean for his stand against the war, and whatever happens going forward, Dean put both the anti-war and lousy economy planks in the Dem platform for this year. If the nominee isn't Dean, I will support them, but I would hope that they would take the ball that Dean handed them and continue to run with it.

Biggest point - this is not a long primary season, but there are many contests still to come. Some want to declare the ballgame over, but we've only seen one batter so far...and he hit a double.

Patience friends, patience.

they are the ones that probably never voted Dem before so it's understandable that they would want their first time Dem vote to be for their choice.

Those that are willing to vote ABB, simply want bush out more.

What happens if bush isn't defeated happens to us all and I will sleep better knowing I at least attempted to prevent that from happening.

There has been enough vitriol on this board between the Dean/Clark camps to last a lifetime - from BOTH sides.

The idea of this campaign is to pick a nominee and then STAND BEHIND HIM. Is that so tough to understand?

Playing gotcha is easy - acting with respect takes something special. For those of us on all sides who respect the democratic process may I suggest we do so?

There is nothing wrong in continuing the discussions re: electability, perception, and the like, nor is there anything wrong with an ocassional knee to the groin when no one's looking. All's fair in politics, save two things:

1) Gloating is a fools way of saying "look at me", and anyone dumb enough to think one state equals fifty states needs to retake Politics 101

2) Anyone who refuses to pull the (D) lever because their candidate didn't win the primary may as well ask George for a job in the Bush II administration. Damned if you wouldn't have earned it.
