Iowa is over, and there's no sense in re-fighting it. Keep your focus to the FRONT, because that's where the next battle lies. NOTHING is over yet but the Iowa caucuses.

Good luck to you, and may the best candidate win!

3. I'm not concerned
Iowa isn't that big a fish. I do wish he was second, but the campaign always said they'd be happy to be in the top 3. It's hardly a disaster. In fact, the scrutiny will switch to Kerry (whom I also admire, BTW) and Dean can focus on NH, where he is still ahead in the polls after all.

No folks, there is a still a long race to run yet. We are in a viable position.

4. Yes, you are still quite viable.
Pay no attention to the naysayers, because you still present a formidable challenge!

Good luck! :hi:

5. The Iowa caucuses are primarily over-hyped bs
but thats just my opinion. Dean still has the lead in NH and lets see what happens next!

6. Now it is a four-way race for NH:
Dean, Clark, Kerry, and Edwards

That changes the dynamic.

9. Kind words
I want to be the first to admit I'm really bummed out about the numbers. It feels bad, and there's no sense in denying it.

At the same time, I don't think it's over for Dean, not by a long way. If I supported any of the other candidates right now, my thinking would almost certainly be that Iowa was great, but that it's going to be a tricky, uphill battle.

As a Dean supporter, I think the exact same way.

I will state that I'm happy about Gep's relatively poor performance. He's just not my favorite, for a variety of reasons.

But the best part about all of this is that it's clear there are a ton of PISSED OFF Democrats chomping at the bit to kick that inbred monkey the hell out of the White House. And that can't be a bad thing.

Congratulations to tonight's winners, and to all of us ultimately.

10. It ain't over 'til it's over
This is only the first step, folks. Dean's still a strong force in NH. And, just think: Dean's winning in the polls by a fairly good margin in CA. Compare the delegates he'll win from CA and those he didn't win in Iowa. There's still hope. :)
