I know that this has come up before...but I think it needs revisiting.

The idea was that we would write something like "Bush Lied" or "Impeach Bush" on our currency - That is on 1's, 5's, and 20's, etc.

I know that there is some law (I believe) about defacing legal tender...

Anyway...I thought that would be a cheap way of getting the word out about how many of us feel. These bills would circulate widely and remind many of how dissatisfied we are with the current state of affairs.

Any ideas...?

defacing currency is against the law, but who's going to catch you at it? I've noticed myriad bills with the "God" blacked out in "In God we Trust" lately.
Of course you'd NEVER catch me defacing legal tender. ;) That would be wrong.
