Who drops out after tonight?
I say:

Gephardt
Kucinich

Even though Dean fell hard, he has the money and supporters to still make a play for NH.

2. Gephardt only.

If he could barely hit double figures in his neighbour state, he has no chance at all anywhere else.

I would be surprised if he doesn't drop out this week.

4. No one will.. this is silly
There's still NH only a week away. Only a fool would drop out now. Though, look for 1 - 3 candidates to drop out after NH, but no one is going out with another primary right around the corner, it would be self-defeating to their previous work and campaigning.

15. you don't think Gephardt will?
Iowa was his only shot.

With this low of a finish, Gephardt's $$$ is going to dry up real fast. He has no chance in NH and he knows it.

I bet he drops out within days.

28. No, he'll drop out after NH, but just to save face
He's going to hang in to save face and graciously bow out after that election. He can spend one more weeks cash and get some respectability out of the money.

He's out, no doubt, but I think he'll stick it out through NH.

6. Lieberman
He has no chance. He is far too conservative to get the liberal vote without them being heavlily medicated. But he has the ability to pull some of the conservative vote. Bush lite is still better than Full Blown Bush.

10. If any
it would be Gep, but I doubt it. This is the first state (a caucus state at that). Means little overall except the negative press Gep may get out of it.

I would guess (given other discussions I've had today) that Kucinich will not be dropping out anytime soon.

will drop out before NH I suspect
who will he endorse if anyone?

DK and Sharpton are not dropping out at this point.
Sharpton will not drop out until post-SC at earliest
DK will not drop out until post-CA at the earliest

21. Right. Dean is far from out,
though he may suffer in New Hampshire. Kerry is suddenly the Comeback Kid, and Edwards is the Rising Son of a Mill Worker.

27. Gephart
His numbers aren't too impressive anywhere else so he might as well just bow out now. I think Dennis is in for another month, just to get his message out...so people know what a real Democrat is supposed to stand for. Lieberman will stay in another month despite a sorrowful showing in NH just because he likes to whine...
