Wow. Hooda thunk it? What does this mean for everyone else? Can you say 60 Minutes appearance? The power of media is scary.

15. Me three. If were gonna lose with a NE liberal, I'd rather..
take my chances with Kerry.

But Wes still has the best chance at beating bush. Never forget! :bounce:

3. the networks are catching on
Gep is not viable, and most of his supporters are going to edwards with a shmattering going to kerry, pushing his numbers even higher.

8. it's VERY early, and the early precincts are probably rural ones
with smaller numbers to count. Edwards should do better there.

9. an amazing comeback for sure...
If Dean loses big, I kind of feel this isn't good news for the young new voters...wasn't Dean's rise because of this grass roots young movement?? We've got to get them energized...this election is a lot about their future...I hope this doesn't turn them away...including my kids...

I think Kerry would make a wonderful nominee if it plays out... Clark is still great too... Edwards great too... I think it's a strong field - just never thought this was Dean's time, even though his message was strong.

Dean's rise is due to the fact that the media pushed him, and he was the one who was most vocal at a critical time. the young people need to know that. signed an old fart at 43, who is throwing back the beers watching this race!!

11. I think "destroyed" is a little strong. He's beating Gephart who
has won the state in the past if memory serves. Also, Iowans don't have a very good track record of picking winners.

14. Trippi said they had "identified" the number of voters they..
needed to win. So, what happened?

16. Oh no!
Dean is in 3rd place! Why, in 1992, do you know what loser took 3rd place in Iowa?

Bill Clinton!
