David Shuster on "holding powerful individuals and groups accountable"
STRONG words coming from a network featuring Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough and well...DAVID SHUSTER, a sad, pathetic little worm of a man who reveled in the "winning ways" of the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign's last days like a pig rolling around in slop.

If MSNBC were even remotely "committed to holding powerful individuals and groups accountable," they would have jumped on the election fraud issue immediately following the close of the polls.

So let's revise the statement for accuracy:

"All of us at hardblogger are committed to holding powerful individuals and groups accountable... whether they are political figures or corporate titans, excluding, of course, George W. Bush, any members of his family or administration, and any business associates past, present or future."

THERE YA GO, David. NOW you're speaking the truth.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/

"Shuster: Unfriendly skies
All of us at hardblogger are committed to holding powerful individuals and groups accountable... whether they are political figures or corporate titans. And the fact is, nearly all of the major U-S based airlines have received billions in taxpayer bailouts. As taxpayers, you have a right to expect that the airlines will operate in a safe and efficient manner. Is it too much to also ask for “decency” and “accountability?” I hope not..."

1. omfg
the service person was rude to this woman, and Shuster is training all of MSNBC's might against the customer service department. I sure feel better that MSNBC is looking out for us on the important stuff, speaking truth to power about proper service.

I read his Unfriendly Skies piece yesterday and missed this. Do you recall that last week at the end of a post he had said that he had some numbers that the NBC political analysts thought were a big deal, that might "shock" some people -- did you ever see/hear a report about this?

I would suggest that we consider Shuster 'friendly media' at this point. Apparently, his father lives in my hometown and attended a presentation that a friend and I gave about vote fraud on the 13th. His father may have told David about the website that my friend S.H. created because S.H. says that someone from NBC has searched it several times since then...

3. Don't forget the media
Despite the immense power wielded by cabal news, they almost never air corrections or retractions of any kind.

4. What a weasel - and that's an upgrade!
DS/BS has the credibility of his profession to support him in his time of customer service pratfalls...

5. It's about effing time.
I have been shocked how the white American culture shield their own. Their thought process goes something like this, "Yeah, well he did cheat, but look at all the good he's done." So they don't question Mr. Biggie and in fact, protect him against any criticism and in so doing, they build a shield so strong that Mr. Biggie's real trangressions are never really known.

On the other hand, you have the Dem party who did absolutley nothing when they came after Clinton. The reality is that before Clinton, there was code of silence from the media when it came to presidential picadillos. Clinton was not the first, he was just the first president who was hunted down by the other party with the media's help. But now, they need to be consistent. They went after Clinton, why aren't they going after Bush on everything else that really counts?

It definitely does look like there is an agenda in this country to keep the power of government in the hands of people who are afraid to share power with people of other color. Let's face it folks. We don't really live in a democracy. Maybe never did.

6. you are so correct
Shuster is a "sad, pathetic worm of a man". The whole lot of these tv so called news personalties are exactly what is wrong with our country today. They like to place themselves in the same category of Cronkite,Murrow etc. but they are in fact all on the same level of Novak, Buchanan etc.

Like this administration, I guess they feel if they repeat a lie often enough it will actually become true. I very rarely watch any corporate corrupt news at this point.

The last time David Shuster held anyone accountable was when
he chased Gary Condit around the Capitol complex when he was at Faux. I still remember him calling Condits name and chasing behind him.
