WTF! Brazile Is At It Again : Candidates to Lead DNC 'Not Up to the Task'
We must consider the rw rag-of-a-source, but here goes ...

Democrat consultant Donna Brazile told HUMAN EVENTS she wouldn't seek her party's leadership post at the Democratic National Committee, and declined to offer an endorsement, calling the current slate of candidates inadequate.

"The current list of candidates, in my judgment, are not up to the task, but we'll see what emerges in the next couple weeks," said Brazile, who was a panelist Tuesday at a liberal strategy session organized by the Center for American Progress.

As for herself, Brazile said the rumors that she might seek the position are false. Brazile was former Vice President Al Gore's campaign manager in 2000 and she later went to work as head of the DNC's Voting Rights Institute during the 2004 campaign.

"I never had any interest, never expressed any interest and I don't have any interest in doing it," Brazile told HUMAN EVENTS about the DNC job. "When you've been a campaign manager, when you've been as deeply involved as I have with the DNC, you know the structural changes that are needed. You don't need a mechanic, you need someone who can go in there and clean house."

10. LOL! Thanks for reminding me of what's politically correct around here.

I guess we can use any derogatory remark in reference to whomever we want, but let's not use that particular colloquialist insult lest we not be sensitive enough.

By the way, by gender, she is a woman. Yes. I'll grant you that. But SHE IS a "BEEE-ACH" by nature.

2. Does this indicate Donna Brazille "gets" the situation?
Edited on Tue Nov-23-04 04:14 PM by shance
And doesnt want to see the DNC turn into the RNC?

I think this is a good sign. Its also a good indicator that she comes from the Gore campaign in 2000.

7. A supremely useless human being, her continued noise hurts us all
Edited on Tue Nov-23-04 04:22 PM by PurityOfEssence
Shouldn't she be hugging and kissing her dear friend Karl Rove? She led a pathetic campaign for Gore that more closely resembled a minuet of appeasement and decorum than a fight.

She needs to go away.

15. Yes, it is. We are the restless "rank in file" activist base.
A little grumbling "behind the scenes" may be expected. But i would expect more happy-face public cheerleading from opinion leaders in the party, as Donna is supposed to be. To say that not a soul in the stable is up to the task is just not productive!

18. oh, I agree. But my point was...
...that some here are grumbling because it was said, not because of who said it.

19. It's amazing what we will say about our fellow Dems here
but it's like a family. Keeping it within the family is acceptable; airing the family's dirty laundry in public is not.

I've appreciated the way some who have ripped Kerry a new one here will still get outraged when someone, like Candy Crowley for instance, says something unfair about him. It's like being allowed to call your brother an ass, but woe to anyone outside the family who dares to say the same.

Know what I mean?

17. Is Brazille about to release her book "Why Gore Lost:Me" soon?
She needs to shut her pie hole. Hey, that's better than calling her a beee-aatch.

No really...she needs to just hang with the Rovester...he might get her a gig on Faux Snooze derailing the Democratic Party.

20. IMHO...
.. Brazile is more or less following the media whores into going where they think the money is. We are never going to succeed as a party until we drum this element from our party.

If you are in it to curry media favor, join the Repugs, that is their stock in trade.
