Inside the minds of Bush supporters
my mother and brother came in last night to my work and everything was fine until they brought up politics again!

They think that

1. of course things aren't great in Iraq but we just took over a country.

2. Kerry was unfair to Bush during campaigning..by criticizing Bush and the war. Bush couldn't defend himself because he can't say whats going good in iraq because then that would involve national security. he can't tell us stuff about Iraq because we are at war and it must be top secret.

3. Bush couldn't support Kyoto treaty because it would put coal miners out of jobs.

there are so many, but these are a few. the bush supporters i have seen are either really religious or getting to the point of instead of being patriotic leaning more towards nationalism!

1. Here is my answer to the Bush voter in my life
(fortunately not even in the same state)

Just wait, and remember when you have no work, you voted for it sweetie

When you are drafted, you voted for it sweetie.

When you have to choose between dawg food and medicine for dad and mom, you voted for it sweetie

I actually wrote a bush voter, when all the things we told you about come to pass, I don't want to hear it... you voted for it, remember? I have no empathy left. Granted it is harder for you, it is family, but they will not get it until they personally suffer due to their vote, then maybe then, teh kool aid will start to wear off

When all is said and done you will find very few bush suporters just like you found very few Nazis

3. Things I've had to listen to at my Bunco group....
1. Battered women like getting beat. Some even provoke their partners so they can make them mad and hit them.

2. Outsourcing is not really a problem. Nobody wants to do the work anyway. Who wants to flip burgers and work at call centers!!

3. My husband was offered a job in Georgia but I don't want to move there because there are too many blacks.

4. We have a prayer circle for George Bush's faithfulness. He is very brave to speak out about his faith.

10. Outsourcing burger flipping?

What, like, to India?

No wonder they're cold sometimes by the time I get them...

4. That's The Problem
Most Bush supporters are either warmongers, foaming at the mouth religious fanatics, or nationalists.

5. my roomie the pro-bushie-boy girl
my roommate voted for bush. I love my roomie, she's really nice, but her ideas about politics scare the shit out of me. She thinks bush is a nice guy, (how I don't know), she doesn't believe in abortion, and that's one thing that really ticked her off about Kerry. She thinks the terrorists are really scared of bush. Personally I think bush is a coward (didn't do any national guard duty, come on, that's gotta be a clue), Terrorists aren't stupid, they know what kind of wuss bush is.

6. And they are okay with "just taking over a country"? Is your brother of
age to serve in our country? Perhaps you should suggest he go support the president. :hi:

ask them about the steelworkers who were put out of jobs, because bush rolled back the parts clear air act that affected corporte pollution.

apparently the apparatus needed to filter smokestacks was what was giving steelworkers jobs. when he changed the wules in favor of his corporate firends, the little guys got screwed.
