Tax Reform for rural Texans?
READ MY LIPS NO NEW TAXES!

The new plan for tax simplification is nothing more than shifting the tax burden from wealth to the working people of this country. We were promised no new taxes, and now I ask; Oh really?

What is it called when you have to pay income tax on the money you send to the county appraisal district? That is called double taxation “taxing your taxes”. What is it called when they decide to stop giving your employer a tax break for offering you health insurance, that’s a “health insurance tax”? I don’t know about your employer, but mine will no longer offer me a subsidized insurance plan if they don’t get a tax break for it.

What do we get in return? The Administration of this Serfdom says they would eliminate taxes on dividends and capital gains paid out of fully taxed corporate profits. That’s not going to help me.

Now I don’t know about you individually, but according to the census bureau the median income of this county is below 42K, and 80% of the homes are owner occupied. This will impact a large number of us. We can’t afford this neighbor.

When you have absolute power, and it goes unchecked you can do about anything you want in Washington, and it looks like they are doing just that and sticking us with the bill. We all need to pay attention because power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely as they say.

2. had an employee ask for us to pay her full insurance
instead of a bonus we were giving for christmas. we pay half, they pay half. our company almost went under a year ago, just getting stronger.

she wants bush, said kerry was anti christ. everything about her cries to elect kerry, but they only watch fox

i told her, cant take her insurance right now, but when kerry wins i will be excited to see what he can do with health insurance and see if we can get a better plan that will be able to give us more coverage at less cost

now i think i will let her know, not only are we going to get a better deal, we will be payng more because she voted bush in. big thumbs up on this one
