Duties and Responsibilities of the National Security Adviser to George W. Bush:

- The incumbent National Security Adviser (NSA) will not be a part of the reality-based community. At the Direction of George W. Bush, the NSA must not concern themself with the facts. They must only promote the Bush agenda, no matter what the facts on the ground tell them.

- If the counter-terrorism official informs the NSA that they need an urgent meeting with George Bush, the NSA must not make that meeting happen. Why bother yourself with national security, when you can spend more time on the phone with Bob Jones, James Dobson, and Dick Armey?

- The NSA is directed by George W. Bush to not cooperate at all with the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon The United States. Any cooperation with this Commission will be viewed as disloyalty to the President.

- Other duties as assigned: Glossing over any memos warning of OBL's desire to attack America, being so far up the President's behind that you aren't any earthly good.

I have an idea everyone. I cannot do this, since I'm a Washington, DC resident and we don't have full representation in the United States Senate. So I have no Senator to contact.

But I ask each of you to write both of your Senators, and ask them to either vote down the nominations of Condi Rice and Alberto Gonzalez, or conduct a filibuster to kill the nominations. And also, please ask at least 10 of your friends to do likewise. The U.S. Senators need to hear from their constituents.

Also, it will let the Bushies know that we won't be silent. When you and your friends write your Senators, tell them that the U.S. Senate is OBLIGATED to conduct checks and balances on the executive branch. They are not to be rubber stamps for Presidential nominees.

Again, please write to your Senators to oppose these nominations, and ask at least 10 of your friends to do the same. And ask your friends to ask their friends. Blow up the emails and fax machines of the US Senate.
