3. If it came down to Dean or Vilsack...
I know there are others, but I wanted to limit the discussion to these two.

Hope I did not offend.

;)

4. Dean, DNC Chair should be a full time job
and Vilsack still has two years as governor.

5. Dean will never be president in this tele-voter world
But he would be one hell of a DNC chair. He's got the organizational skill, the determination, and the right attitude.

13. Hey, LX!
Totally agree - Dean, as expected, knew the most important thing was getting rid of the Shrub. And he fought hard for Kerry. Great guy.

Of course, the DNC insiders have the knives out for him now. Jesus.

6. Vilsac's wife Christie
She is a much better speaker than Vilsac and is the main reason that he is Gov in my opinion. She is very smart and I think a woman is needed as chair. (except for that Kerry Campain chair)

14. I'd prefer Dean to run for Prez in 2008, but if he opts out, I'd rather
have Dean as DNC Chair, but on condition that he can openly critique the reichwing Dems, like my senator Lieberman, as well as Repukes.

15. Dean represents change
Vilsack wants to keep Iowa as the first primary ("primary" reason he seeks post).

I give up on the party if Vilsack is selected - there is no hope with the approach that has been losing for decades.
